Where Wellness Meets Design: A WELL Gold Certified Speculative Suite
Scope Projects, in collaboration with Hammond Studio, delivered this stunning speculative fit-out on Level 11 of 126 Phillip Street which achieved a WELL Gold certification. The design prioritises wellness and sustainability, integrating natural materials, biophilic elements and thoughtful spatial planning to enhance occupant well-being.
The space incorporates warm whites, natural textures, and layered materials to create a workplace with a refined, domestic feel—an intentional contrast to the building’s exposed structure and mechanical aesthetic. To address obstructed easterly views, enclosed rooms have been placed along the affected facade, while open areas remain accessible to all, reinforcing the idea that the best views should be shared.
A key part of the design is the arrival experience. Barrisol lighting mimics a skylight, enhancing natural brightness, while LED screens display dynamic digital art inspired by Sydney’s coastline, accompanied by ambient sounds of the ocean. These elements contribute to an immersive environment that prioritises occupant well-being, aligning with the principles of WELL Certification.
