Padel Point Bankstown | Warehouse Conversion & Sports Facility Fitout
At Scope Projects, we are drawn to projects that challenge the norm. This commercial fitout in Bankstown involved the transformation of an existing warehouse into a high-performance sports facility, requiring a collaborative and considered delivery approach.
Padel Point at 1 Kirby Place is a strong example of how adaptive reuse and warehouse conversion fitouts can create new, high-value environments tailored to how people train, play and recover today.

Transforming a Warehouse into a High-Performance Sports Facility
Originally a warehouse facility, the space has been transformed through a design and construct fitout into a premium sports complex. The project brings together high-quality padel courts with integrated recovery spaces, including an infrared sauna and ice baths.
The result is a facility designed for how users engage with fitness today, combining performance, recovery and experience within a single environment.

Navigating Approvals & Delivery Challenges
This was a project shaped as much by the approvals process as the build itself. Delivering a warehouse conversion fitout in NSW required close coordination between design, client and delivery teams over an extended period.
Working alongside Pony Design and the client team, the process required patience, problem solving and a shared commitment to achieving the intended outcome.

Outcome for the Client
For the client, the outcome represents more than just a completed space.
As Farzin Nami, Co-Founder of Padel Point, shared:
“After more than two years working towards this project, seeing it come to life has been incredibly rewarding. As a startup, there were a lot of moving parts to manage, so having Scope Projects by our side to handle the construction, coordinate trades and guide the process made a significant difference. It allowed us to focus on building the business with confidence.”
A Project That Reflects Scope’s Approach
For our team, this is exactly the type of project that defines who we are.
We are not solely focused on one type of work or one outcome. We are drawn to opportunities that require deeper engagement, collaboration and a more considered approach to delivery.
Projects like this demonstrate Scope Projects’ capability in delivering non-traditional commercial fitouts across Sydney, particularly where design, approvals and construction require alignment.
Culture & Team
Following completion, the team returned to site to experience the space firsthand, hosting a team event and testing the courts together.
Being able to step into what we have delivered and use it as intended is something we value. It is also what helps shape our culture.
Projects like this naturally attract people who want to be part of something more than just delivery. People motivated by variety, challenge and the opportunity to work on spaces that feel considered and impactful.
